From March 1 through March 31, 2019, donations made to Boysville, Inc. will go twice as far.  The Richmond Family Foundation, a supporting organization of the San Antonio Area Foundation, will match all donations to Boysville up to $100,000.

Through the generosity of Jack and Laura Richmond, the foundation strives to give energy and help to those angels among us who are actively caring for such neighbors.

“We are truly blessed by the Jack and Laura Richmond to have this opportunity,” said Beth Green, spokesperson for Boysville.  “The funds raised will support over 300 children who have experienced abuse, neglect or family crisis.”

All gifts, big and small, donated in March 2019 are eligible for the match.   Donations may be made online at https://www.boysvilletexas.org/richmond-matching-grant/ or by calling 210-659-1901.

Boysville, Inc., established in 1943, began as a home for orphaned boys.  Today, Boysville,  a nationally accredited home for children, cares for boys and girls, birth through 23, who cannot remain in their home due to abuse, neglect and abandonment.  Boysville’s mission is to provide a safe, family environment for children in need so that they may become responsible adults.
