Foster Care Program

Foster Care Program

Giving families hope.

The Foster Care Program at Boysville is unique in its plan to focus on large sibling groups by providing temporary care for children who cannot live with their biological families and are in the custody of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services due to neglect and/or physical, sexual or emotional abuse.

On-Campus Foster Care at Boysville

The On-Campus Foster Care Program at Boysville has foster homes that are designed to accommodate large sibling groups and contain more than adequete bedroom and bath facilities. Each home offers children a chance to experience how healthy families behave, communicate and respect one another.  Foster parents live on the campus with the children and have their own private living quarters attached to the cottage.

Community-Based Foster Care Program

The Community Based Foster Care Program (CBFC) at Boysville is seeking families interested in being foster parents and who live in the Judson Independent School District and the surrounding area. The CBFC at Boysville will manage up to 15 foster homes in the community. The CBFC provides training, support and financial stipends for families willing to become foster care parents. The CBFC is responsible for placing children in need of services as well as providing case management, therapeutic and recreational support and opportunities for spiritual growth for foster care children. The Community Based Foster Program allows parents to live in their own accommodations and provide care for 1-3 children in keeping with the amount of space and the number of biological children they have.
