Birdies for Charity
Birdies for Charity® is a fundraising program designed by Golf San Antonio to give participating organizations the opportunity to generate contributions through the Valero Texas Open. Birdies for Charity is a no-cost program that gives 100% of the funds raised back to the participating organization. Funds are generated by soliciting pledges from individuals and corporations.
Help Boysville raise $25,000 by March 7, 2012! Through the Birdies for Charity fundraising program, Boysville will receive additional incentives and bonus bucks for our efforts. Plus we get the opportunity to apply for additional grants through the Valero Texas Open. In the past, funds from this worthwhile program have benefited our Emergency Shelter program which cares for our infants and toddlers.
HOW WILL YOUR GIFT IMPACT A CHILD AT BOYSVILLE?
$20 - Buys four (4) books for a child to strengthen their reading skills
$50 - Provides birthday presents for a child when they otherwise would have been forgotten
$75 - Gives two (2) changes of clothes plus a new pair of shoes for a child entering our Emergency Shelter
$100 - Provides one Day of Care (clothing, food and a place to call home) for one child living at Boysville
$250 - Covers the cost of formula and baby food for four (4) infants in our Emergency Shelter for one month
$500 - Buys College books for one of our graduates attending a University
$1,000 - Provides new bedding for 20 young children sleeping in their own bed for the first time
