Sponsor a Birthday Party
Remember growing up and playing "Pin the Tail on the Donkey," breaking a pinata and running to collect as much candy as possible or someone signing "Happy Birthday" to you? For many of our residents this is something they had never experienced until they arrived at Boysville. If your group or organization is looking for a way to get involved, this is a great opportunity to make a lasting memory for our residents. By sponsoring a birthday party, you will host an all-campus party to celebrate all the birthdays within that month. Camp Wildbeast and Independence Camp
Two Camps will be held this summer with the 1st camp being held the week of July 12th - 16th. Camp Wildbeast is a week full of fun activities for children ages 4-13 years old and it's held right here on our campus. It will be held from 8:00 a.m. to noon with lunch immediately following. Many of the children have never before attended camp and they have a wonderful time.
Activities include swimming, basketball, arts and crafts and many more. We need volunteers to help facilitate the different activities by supervising, coaching, keeping scores, etc. On Friday, we will be taking the children on a field trip and need volunteers to act as chaperones.
Our 2nd camp will be held the week of July 26th - July 30th. Independence Camp is another week full of activities, this time for our children ages 14 - 18 years old and will be held here on campus from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This camp is designed to help our teens prepare for independent living.
Topics include Money Management, Personal-Interpersonal Skills, Job Skills, Planning for the Future, Means of Transportation, Health & Wellness, Safety. We need volunteers with knowledge and skills in these topics to lead a class. Other volunteers are needed to serve as group leaders, monitors, food helpers and clean up.

The Good, The Bad, and The Wild - Boysville's 44th Annual Wildest Auction in the West
That's the theme for this year's auction. It's a BIG party and we need your help!
The Wildest Auction in the West is Boysville's single, largest fundraiser. The event consists of a live auction, silent auction and great entertainment! We need volunteers to help us set-up, act as runners for silent auction items, monitor the silent auction and clean up. Great for community service hours AND we will even feed you!
The auction will be held at Exposition Hall A at Freeman Coliseum on Friday, August 20, 2010.
You must be at least 21 years of age to volunteer for this event.
