Volunteers Needed
Sponsor a Birthday Party
Remember growing up and playing "Pin the Tail on the Donkey," breaking a pinata and running to collect as much candy as possible or someone signing "Happy Birthday" to you? For many of our residents this is something they had never experienced until they arrived at Boysville. If your group or organization is looking for a way to get involved, this is a great opportunity to make a lasting memory for our residents. By sponsoring a birthday party, you will host an all-campus party to celebrate all the birthdays within that month. Contact Sara Flournoy at sflournoy@boysvilletexas.org or (210) 659-1901 to schedule one month out of the year to sponsor a party!
Tutors Needed
The school season has begun and we need tutors! If you are available any day from Monday through Thursday, between the hours 3 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and have a gift for helping a child learn, we need you!
Boysville holds study hall in our campus library during these days and we have three study-timegroups. The elementary students gather from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the middle school students from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and high school students from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. We especially need tutors who are knowledgeable in Math and Science in all grades, as well as Spanish tutors. Tutors are also needed to read to/with the younger ones.
If you are available during any of these days/times, please contact Sara Flournoy at sflournoy@boysvilletexas.org for more information.
Volunteers Needed in the Infant & Toddler Emergency Shelter
